Printing Photographs on Fabric

The printed images are not iron-on transfers.
The fabrics used are all white.
Available fabric types:
  • Cotton Sheeting
  • Cotton Broadcloth
  • Cotton Twill, 7 oz.
  • Cotton Denim, 10 oz.

The largest image that can be printed is based on the size of the fabric sheet selected.  We typically print the images to allow for a
1/2" seam on all sides.
We offer the following sizes of fabric sheets for printing:
  • 8.5" x 11"
  • 8.5" x 14"
  • 11" x 17"
  • 13" x 19"

We do not recommend denim for close up facial portrait images due to the heavy nature of the fabric and the angular nap.

Digital Photographs

Digital photographs can be emailed directly to us.  Out of focus photographs should not be used. We can accept the following
formats: jpg, bmp, tiff.

Printed Photographs

Many photographs exist in print form only.  In this case, the photograph will need to be scanned before we can print it on fabric. We
can scan the photograph with our equipment (there is an additional charge for this service) or you may take the photograph to a
professional photo shop to have it scanned and email the digital copy to us. Please have the photo scanned at a minimum of
300dpi.

All printed photographs sent to us will be returned with your order.

Digital Enhancements to Photographs

We do a limited amount of digital enhancement work to prepare the photograph for printing on fabric.  Any minor changes beyond
those necessary for printing will require your approval before printing. The changed digital copy of the photograph will be sent to
you via email for approval before printing.  Minor editing includes cropping, color contrast, red eye removal, facial "hot spot" toning,
etc.

We use
Photographics Magic in Dallas to perform all major restoration or complex enhancement work on a photograph before
printing.  A cost quotation for major work from Photographics Magic will be sent to you.  Major restoration of a photograph includes
reconstruction of torn corners, cracked photos, etc.  Complex work includes construction of composites - taking elements from
multiple images to construct a new one.  An example of a composite is taking a picture of a missing family member and adding
them to a group photo.

Copyright Laws

Copyright laws protect the unauthorized use of photographs.  We cannot accept photographs taken by professional
photographers without their written authorization.
The individual or company sending the photograph accepts all liability for
unauthorized use of a photograph.  Copyright laws may not apply for photographs older than 50 years.  The exception to this is for
famous photographs where a company or individual has purchased the sole right to publish that photograph.

We reserve the right to not accept inappropriate pictures.
